SwapStrings is for guitar players who enjoy the gear almost as much as the playing. We look for guitars, amps, pedals and useful accessories that add something worthwhile to a setup — better feel, better sound, more comfort or simply more reasons to pick up the instrument.
What We Look For
We’re drawn to gear that has a clear reason to exist. It might feel better in the hands, make a setup easier to live with, open up a new sound or simply encourage you to play more often. We’re not interested in filling pages with products for the sake of it — we’d rather share the pieces of gear that genuinely earn their place.
Built for Players, Not Algorithms
SwapStrings is not a review site, and we’re not here to score products or chase whatever happens to be popular that week. We write for people who actually enjoy guitars and the gear around them. The aim is simple: help you understand what a piece of equipment could add to your playing, your sound or your setup before you decide whether it belongs there.
