“COMPADRE” can deliver all the tone shaping functions necessary for the front end of the signal chain.
Since it has an auto-makeup and auto-threshold design, you can control the dynamics just by setting the COMPRESSION knob.
It also has a wide range of tone shaping functions that will easily guide you to the settings you are looking for.

Choose from two compressions with unique characters.
Studio mode: Smooth, beautiful and clear compression of vintage studio racks.
Squeeze mode: Hard, deep, sustaining compression found in classical guitar pedals.

■Clean & Dirty Boost that suppresses the sweet spot
It features two different analog boost circuits: clean and dirty boost.
At times, a dirty boost will give you the soft clipping character of a TS type overdrive pedal.
Additionally, three boost EQs can be switched to match your guitar and amp combination.

■Extended control
Connect an expression pedal to control VCA volume.
Strymon MiniSwitch Plus allows you to save and recall your favorite settings.
You can also integrate it into your MIDI pedalboard with the Strymon MIDI EXP cable.
